New Year’s Eve casts an urgency unlike any other day of the year as people all over America revel in the infinite possibilities of the coming year. Cecil Howard‘s Foxtrot follows the lives of several oversexed New Yorker’s on the last day of the year as they plan and prepare for what they hope will be a night of unforgettable passion. The countdown is on and the stage is set as the Luther’s prepare to host a New Year’s Eve gala where the lives of all the characters will intertwine. New bonds will be forged and old promises broken creating a permanent divide between the all too familiar past and the all too blind future.

With an in telligent script by Ann Randall and superb camera work from Felix Daniel, Cecil Howard coaxes genuine, realistic performances and arousing sexuality from an all-star cast. Jack Teague plays the perverted millionare who will have sex with anyone… but his wife. R. Bolla is the conservative but curious neighbor to Marlene Willoughby’s Zelda, an erotic writer. Sandra Hillman plays the baby-sitter who decides that New Year’s Eve is the time to lose her virginity and Ron Jeremy plays the sailor who discovers his girlfriend is cheating on him… with another woman! Vanessa Del Rio and Tiffany Clark are both objects of desire for the aforementioned Teague. lInda Vale plays the mother to Marilyn Gee’s Alice, a young but notorious starlet who is willing to do anything to get a starring role. Samantha Fox and Veronica Hart round out this all star cast of characters who each in their own way have have pitted themselves in a race against time.

The first movie to win Best Picture at the first ever AVN awards in 1984, it has been unavailable to the general public for twenty years. THE most famous of all adult movies, the release of 1972′s Deep Throat was a watershed event in American cinema reaching a general audience unlike any other adult movie since. It was one of the first adult films to include a plot, character development and Hollywood-type production standards including a soundtrack album released that same year. The term “Deep Throat” became a cultural buzzword as the movie inspired the nickname of a government informant during the Watergate political scandal that brought down then president Nixon.

The movie was banned in many countries and spurred a number of obscenity prosecutions across the United States. Recent documents released by the government indicated a serious campaign by high ranking FBI officials to stop any screenings of the film. Lead actor Harry Reems was eventually indicted for his role in the movie, the first time an actor was ever tried for obscenity by the government. (Linda Lovelace and director Gerard Damiano were granted immunity for their testimony.)

Deep Throat was released to rave reviews and premiered at The World Theater in New York City on June 12, 1972.

Bettie Paige, a legendary pin-up model who appeared in men’s magazines in the 1950′s, and who later paved the way for women’s sexual revolution in the 1960′s, died today at age 85.

Paige, might have been the most famous pin-up girl during WWII, with her patent wink, most certainly covered a million lockers, giving far-from-home soldiers an outlet for their sexual fantasies.

She brought kink to the mainstream, sometimes posing in bondage, other times in the nude – but always in top form, and with class. Her image became an icon, and opened up new industries as she became a major influence on growing sub-cultures in the fashion industry.
